Product Research & Sourcing Specialist

Homemi curates practical home products for Thai households and sells them through our storefront, Shopee / Lazada / TikTok Shop, and retail partners nationwide. We source and import most products ourselves from overseas factories, so picking the right product is the heart of the business.

We are hiring two Product Research & Sourcing Specialists to find our next best-sellers, from spotting trends and competitors to talking to factories, negotiating, and handing over to the import team.

Responsibilities

• Find and screen new home-product ideas from market trends, our own sales data, customer reviews, and competitor best-sellers on Shopee / Lazada / TikTok
• Source suppliers and factories on Alibaba / 1688 and at trade fairs; request quotations and samples; compare quality
• Calculate landed cost (product, freight, import duty) and estimate selling price, margin, and order quantity
• Build a product proposal in our ERP with the reasoning, numbers, and risks; present to management for a go / no-go decision
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and lead time with factories, then coordinate with the import and warehouse teams until the goods are in stock
• Track results after launch (sales, return rate, reviews) to adjust specs or discontinue
• Keep product data ready for sale (specs, dimensions, weight, materials) for the content and marketing teams

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Marketing, Business, Logistics, or Chinese language is an advantage)
• 1–3 years in purchasing, sourcing, or marketplace selling; having sourced products from China yourself is a strong plus
• Working English to deal with factories; Chinese is a big advantage
• Comfortable with numbers, able to model cost and margin in Google Sheets / Excel
• Already follows product trends on TikTok / Shopee with a good eye for what home buyers want
• Strong negotiator, detail-oriented, and follows through
• On-site at Ralunar Commerce head office, Monday to Friday, with occasional trips to trade fairs or factories
